For a friend
Mar. 26th, 2014 09:32 pmA friend of mine isn't doing well, and wasn't able to attend the wire crochet class I taught. In fact I only had a couple people, one a coworker, come to it as we had snow.
So I thought I would make her a necklace. I had different beads on each strand. The white and big blue ones were on a strand together. All the medium sized blue including the jagged ones on the second one. And then the third strand had the small beads.
I used blue, purple, and green wire of a 22 gauge. Now the last necklace I had made her broke so I am hoping that with thicker wire it will be less of a problem.
The thicker wire is a lot harder to crochet but manageable. Though my thumb and finger started hurting after a while so I thought I would try left-handed. It was like learning it all over again but I did it.
I can't wait to give it to my friend.
