Summary: So what is it about him?
Author’s Note: It’s short.
I’ve never felt this way before. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been happy. I’ve even been in love. But this feels different. It’s not that I care more about him then I’ve cared about other people. Nor is it that I think he cares more about me than others have in the past. It’s not about that feeling of utter safety and comfort, or how he makes me laugh and frustrates me in the same breath. Though when we’re together intimately and it’s amazing, it’s not about that either. Yes I would give my life for him and he’d give his life for mine, but that’s standard.
So what is it? It’s the fact that I can see us still together fifty years from now. I can imagine every minute of it, from the fights to the make up sex. I even see us laying in our graves next to each other. Together for eternity. I’ll never want anyone else, because to me, he’s everything I’ve ever wanted.
