Disappointed with Travelers
Oct. 27th, 2007 10:20 pmI hated this episode from the very beginning. I've read some reviews and a few times I've heard people saying that Larrin was a strong female character. The idea of her was strong, the execution awful. I have to say that I would rather have a weak female character as long as the acting was good. To me, putting such weak acting on this strong show, was inexcusable. If they were having trouble casting, maybe they should have realized the reason that they couldn't cast for the part was because the part was shit to begin with. Which brings me to my other point, the writing was awful. The torture scene had no real motive and wasn't emotionally charged at all. Every word that came out of Larrin's mouth had me laughing in disgust, not just delivery, which was bad, but the words themselves. There were also many plot holes and bad character choices. I loved last week's episode, and I am happy that the show will have another season, I just hope the rest of this season doesn't bomb like Travelers.
