Miller's Crossing Review
Nov. 30th, 2007 11:49 pmMeh.
I just can't believe they brought a Wraith to Earth. I just know there are going to someday be dire consequences to that. Just unbelievable. And Rodney and Baret(?) were so stupid not to wait for John when looking into that address (which I have no idea how they got it, as Rodney speaks way too fast). I very much believe that the conversation between Rodney and the Wraith in getting him to sympathize, it should have been cut, or shortened, and was so obviously filler. I think that if it really had been the Trust and not just some guy trying to save his daughter, it would have been more interesting. And seriously, someone could just do some digging and find out all about the stargate program??? And the idea that John fed the guy to their pet Wraith, is disturbing on so many levels. Also, emailing top secret information to an unsecure computer is so stupid.
Things I did like, Jeannie was very real and her relationship with Rodney had improved. I thought it funny that she was doing his homework while he was in another galaxy. Radek at the beginning was in top form, 'I'm slowly losing the will to live.' Ronon was fun about
them making him change his clothes and Walter driving him nuts.
Rodney broke her legs?! LOL. Nice.

I think it was meant to parallel the conversation where Wallace was trying to convince Rodney to help the daughter. It was kind of a 'the shoe's on the other foot now' conversation, so they replayed the whole conversation, with Rodney making all the same arguments that he'd been unmoved by when Wallace made them to him.
