It was just one of those days, where everything goes smoothly. Work was simple but fulfilling. Meetings, though dull, were satisfying. Everyone actually got along, only small arguments. The mission for tomorrow looked easy and laidback, just meet old friends of the Athosians, offer service in hope of trade. So it came with quite a shock that I noticed just how attractive one of my team members were. Slow, I know. His personality had always been strong and in the forefront of every meeting, that him even having a figure was always an afterthought. He was talking about one of his experiments as we walked down the hall. His face was bright with excitement and his hands moved to emphasize each thought. To be honest, I rarely noticed guys in the first place. Til now. He's sexy and smart. Well he knows that last part. I had this sudden desire to smooth down the top of his hair, which seemed as animated as his words. I kept my hands down though and simply smiled. He stalled in his explanation, startled almost. He gave me a half smile back and lifted his eyebrow in question. I grinned and he snarled thinking I was just trying to distract him. So he continued on and we came even closer to his lab. He left me in the hall with a promise to eat dinner later. Together. I couldn't wait.
